Eng. Tanas Khoury CLD, IALD is an award -winning, senior lighting designer, CEO and founder of Light Concept lighting design firm based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Light Concept was established in 2007 and is known for its professional Architectural lighting design services across the entire Middle East region. Tanas achieved his BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from Birzeit University; Palestine in 1984. He has 25 years of experience in lighting design and the latest lighting technologies. He attended numerous lighting design courses, seminars, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions worldwide and confidently participated as a speaker in many lighting conferences. His notable experience contributed to his appointment as one of the GE- EDISON Award 2011 jury panel in Cleveland in 2012. Tanas is a professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers IALD since 2014. Recently in October 2019 he achieved his prestigious certification with Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) Association. His passion for lighting design continues to shine through all his contributions and achievements within the industry.
